Based
in Auckland, New Zealand, Softplus was founded in 1992 by
Max Maxwell, an Information Technology professional with
over 22 years experience as a software developer and
lecturer.
Max's
experience as a rating clerk, way back in the dim dark
early days of computers, stood us in good stead when we
were asked to develop a freight manifesting package many years ago.
This was the genesis of Softplus's now extensive range of
products.
Since this
beginning, our efforts have focused
on the Transport and Service Industries and, in
conjunction with our technology partners, Navman and
Telecom, we are now able
to provide flexible software and hardware solutions for a
wide range of industry needs.
